Karthi to revisit his roots for Hari

Karthi has signed a project with director Hari, whose trademark is the unabashed masala entertainers. Karthi will reportedly start filming for this yet to be titled project as soon as he completes All in All Azhagu Raja under the direction of Rajesh. To add to this, Karthi also has Venkat Prabhu’s Biriyani that’s being filmed simultaneously.

It seems that one of the factors that drew Karthi towards the Hari project was that he would be playing a Coimbatore based guy in the film. It is well known that Karthi’s family is based from the Kovai district and the hero is apparently thrilled with the opportunity to revisit his roots through the film.

All in All Azhagu Raja gets more experience

There are some new exciting and experienced additions to the cast list of All in All Azhagu Raja. In addition to Karthi, Kajal Aggarwal and Santhanam; Prabhu, Saranya Ponvannan, Naren and Kota Srinivasa Rao will also be a part of this comedy special by Rajesh.

 

In a surprise move, Thaman has been signed on as the composer of the flick when it was expected that either Yuvan or Harris will compose tunes for the movie like other earlier Rajesh movies.
Studio Green are the producers of this film which is eagerly expected by fans of Rajesh after the name and fame he has earned with his movies like SMS, OKOK and Boss.

What links Kochadaiyaan and Biriyani?

Venkat Prabhu is using the same technology Soundarya R Ashwin is exploiting to make Kochadaiyaan, but he is said to be using it to just can a stunt sequence. Yes the Mankatha director has supposedly used motion capture technology to shoot a fight sequence for Biriyani.
The sequence was shot at Puducherry and Karthi and Nithin Sathya were part of the schedule say reports.

 

The film stars Hansika as female lead and Premji, Mandy Takhar and Ramki in important roles. Shakthi Saravanan cranks the camera and Yuvan Shankar Raja scores the music.

Mandy Thakar plays a modern girl in Biriyani and the role she plays, which according to her is a “sexy and sensual” one, is unlike the real life Mandy Thakar. This is the first Tamil film of the Brit-Punjabi lady, who has done a handful of homely and sweet girl-next-door characters in her Punjabi films.

 

She is both elated and nervous about having done a glamorous character in Biriyani – elated to have bagged a meaty role and nervous about the South Indian people’s reaction to her role.

 

Sha has also done a pole dance in the film and Karthi, after watching her act, supposedly praised Mandy saying that she was the best of all the pole dancers he has come across.
